WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE!

The rains came. The rains went.

The people came, they saw, they devoured.

What a sensational community we have here on the Coast! We are so excited that we were able to put on a banging show - from the entertainers, the speakers, the stallholders and the volunteers, another extraordinary venture for the fastest growing conscious community in the country!

Thank you, Coasties for coming out in droves and telling us what you love!

Special thanks for the amazing pics by Syl Marie Photography and Lisa Haymes Photography

- SPECIAL SCREENING -

I COULD NEVER GO VEGAN

Alive Fest is honoured to announce the Australian premiere of the groundbreaking new documentary I COULD NEVER GO VEGAN @ Everglades in Woy Woy, at 6pm, Sunday March 9, 2025

Directed by award-winning UK filmmaker Tom Pickering and executive produced by Alicia Silverstone and Heather Mills, this gentle and life-affirming journey is the perfect antidote to the powerlessness we might all feel trying to make a difference to animals, our health and the environment.

With no scary scenes of animal abuse, this thoughtful film gently offers the plant-based alternative we’ve all been telling our friends and family about. So, bring them along!

Tickets are available from Oztix here!

Tickets have been priced to ensure the film can reach as many people as possible, and it really is the warmest invitation to the cruelty-free lifestyle we’ve seen. Tickets start at $5 (plus ticketing fee) and with free entry to Alive Fest Volunteers!

RAFFLE ON THE NIGHT!

The Alive Festival raffle will be drawn at 8 pm following the screening.

THE LIST

Alive is brought to you by the Vegan NSW - a community-based charity and NFP organisation whose vision is to create a vegan world. As former stall holders at Alive, Vegan NSW is thrilled to be entrusted to facilitate Alive together with the local community. Together with a host of volunteers, we also run Newcastle Vegan Market and Sydney Vegan Market.

Enormous recognition and thanks go to Ricky Simoes for seeing the possibilities, dreaming big, and bringing the community together to create the haven of hope that is Alive.

What a stunning book this is, replete with delicious universal recipes. Clear instructions and beautifully illustrated. When people ask “what do vegans eat” this book is the perfect answer. And when you don’t feel like cooking Vegan Eats and Treats provides access to some of the best vegan restaurants in NSW. I highly recommend it.
